To create a world where autistic individuals can flourish through access to inclusive, autism-affirming care, education, and community spaces.
These are the principles, attitudes, philosophies, and orientations that we believe are centrally important in our work:
Inclusion
We value all ways of learning, self-expression, and thinking. We recognize the power of universal design to support all students. We reject neuronormative standards.
Communication
Communication is a human right, and the foundation of all we do. We advocate for the acceptance of all forms of communication and work to increase awareness of communicative and linguistic diversity.
Representation
We are autistic-led and neurodiverse at every level of our organization. We seek to grow and build partnerships that are wholly representative of the communities we serve.
Respect
We hold that all children deserve safety, respect, and autonomy. Regardless of perceived ability, needs, or behavior. We actively work against systems, beliefs, and practices that abuse and traumatize children.
